Hi, I’m Dillon.

A Product & UX Designer combining rigorous academic training with proven commercial execution.

I am currently in my final year completing a BA in Product Design at the University of Lincoln, having achieved a 1st-class grade in my first year. While studying, I actively freelance with startups and growing businesses, taking ambiguous problems and turning them into digital experiences that feel clear, useful, and highly considered

EXPERIENCE

Different environments have shaped how I approach design, business, and human behavior.

2022 — Present

Freelance Product / Digital Designer — DillonB.Design

Working with businesses and startups to design websites, digital experiences, and visual identities. Recently elevated a client's organic search performance by 269% (from 2.9K to 10.7K clicks) over four months through an end-to-end UX redesign.

2024

UX / Digital Design — Project — Evassal

Contributed UX, website, and visual design work to an early-stage clothing brand, translating research into digital mockups. A successfully completed project rather than ongoing employment.

Present

Tutor — MyTutor Learning

Delivered 580 personalized one-to-one lessons to 80 students across Mathematics, Physics, and Product Design. This role demands deep empathy and communication, constantly adapting complex information to solve individual user (student) pain points.

Family Business

Wedding Photographer / Creative Support — Photos By Kishen

Supporting my family’s wedding photography business through photography and creative work.

Beyond the interface

I don’t want to be a designer who only thinks in screens. My background in 3D, physical product design, branding, and photography continues to influence how I approach digital architecture.

What I have Learned

01

CLIENTS

Design isn’t about designing what I think looks good. It’s about understanding what someone actually needs to grow their business.

02

TEACHING

The same problem can require completely different explanations depending on who you’re designing for.

03

PHOTOGRAPHY

Composition, timing, and attention to detail can completely change how someone experiences a digital or physical space.

04

PRODUCT DESIGN

Good ideas need to survive beyond the screen.
